Description

A rich and creamy Cajun sauce made with just five ingredients, delivering bold, smoky flavor in only 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Let it simmer gently for a few minutes until it starts to thicken slightly.
  4. Add the Cajun seasoning and mix until evenly combined.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and continue stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately over pasta, chicken, shrimp, or vegetables.

Notes

  • Reduce the Cajun seasoning for a milder sauce.
  • Add cooked shrimp or chicken to turn it into a complete meal.
  • For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • You can add sautéed mushrooms or bell peppers for more texture and flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat gently over low heat, adding a splash of milk or cream if the sauce becomes too thick.
