Description
A quick and crispy air fryer Mexican pizza layered with seasoned ground beef, refried beans, enchilada sauce, melted cheese, and fresh toppings for a bold and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup refried beans
- 4 small flour tortillas (6–8 inch)
- 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
- 1/2 cup enchilada sauce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup sour cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside.
- Spread a thin layer of refried beans over one tortilla.
- Add a layer of seasoned beef on top of the beans and sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef.
- Place another tortilla on top to form the pizza layer.
- Spread enchilada sauce over the top tortilla and sprinkle additional cheese evenly on top.
- Add diced tomatoes and sliced black olives.
- Place the assembled pizza carefully into the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes until the cheese melts and the tortillas become crispy.
- Remove from the air fryer, sprinkle chopped green onions on top, slice into wedges, and serve with sour cream if desired.
Notes
- You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or shredded chicken for a lighter option.
- For a vegetarian version, replace the meat with extra beans or sautéed vegetables.
- Add jalapeños or hot sauce for extra spice.
- Corn tortillas can be used instead of flour tortillas for a more traditional flavor.
- Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3–4 minutes to keep them crispy.
