Description

A quick and crispy air fryer Mexican pizza layered with seasoned ground beef, refried beans, enchilada sauce, melted cheese, and fresh toppings for a bold and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 4 small flour tortillas (68 inch)
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 cup enchilada sauce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  2. Stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Spread a thin layer of refried beans over one tortilla.
  4. Add a layer of seasoned beef on top of the beans and sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef.
  5. Place another tortilla on top to form the pizza layer.
  6. Spread enchilada sauce over the top tortilla and sprinkle additional cheese evenly on top.
  7. Add diced tomatoes and sliced black olives.
  8. Place the assembled pizza carefully into the air fryer basket.
  9. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes until the cheese melts and the tortillas become crispy.
  10. Remove from the air fryer, sprinkle chopped green onions on top, slice into wedges, and serve with sour cream if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or shredded chicken for a lighter option.
  • For a vegetarian version, replace the meat with extra beans or sautéed vegetables.
  • Add jalapeños or hot sauce for extra spice.
  • Corn tortillas can be used instead of flour tortillas for a more traditional flavor.
  • Reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3–4 minutes to keep them crispy.
