Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder

- 1 tsp ground cinnamon

- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup milk

- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat eggs with granulated and brown sugar until light. Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently stir in diced apples.
- Preheat and lightly grease waffle iron.
- Scoop batter into the iron, close, and cook until golden brown and crisp.
- Let cool slightly. Whisk powdered sugar and milk to make glaze.
- Dip or drizzle waffle donuts with glaze before serving.

- Add a pinch of cloves or ginger for extra spice.
