Description

Baked Boursin Salmon is a flavorful and easy-to-make dish combining tender salmon fillets with creamy, herb-infused Boursin cheese, perfect for quick dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 2 to 4 salmon fillets (skin on or off, based on preference)
  • 4 oz Boursin cheese (garlic and herb variety)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or dill (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
  3. Drizzle the salmon with olive oil or melted butter and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Squeeze a little lemon juice over each fillet for brightness.
  5. Spread a generous layer of Boursin cheese on top of each salmon fillet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The cheese should be slightly golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley or dill before serving if desired.

Notes

  • For a tangy twist, mix a squeeze of Dijon mustard into the Boursin cheese before spreading.
  • Add sliced cherry tomatoes or spinach on top of the salmon before baking for extra freshness.
  • For a dairy-free version, substitute Boursin with a dairy-free herb spread.
  • Leftovers keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat gently in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for about 10 minutes to avoid drying out the salmon.
