Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 500g)
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup Italian dressing (low‑sodium if preferred)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish in a single layer.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the chicken.
- Pour the Italian dressing over the chicken and brown sugar, coating each piece.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 74°C / 165°F).
- If desired, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end to caramelize the top.
- Remove from the oven and let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with rice, steamed vegetables, or a simple salad.
- For extra flavor, add minced garlic or a squeeze of lemon.
- You can use bone‑in chicken; just increase baking time as needed.
