Description

A warm and satisfying breakfast sandwich with savory sausage, fluffy eggs, and melted cheese grilled between crispy buttery bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 breakfast sausage patties
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausage patties in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the egg mixture into the same skillet and cook on low heat, stirring gently until soft and fluffy.
  4. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  5. Place one slice of bread butter-side down in a clean skillet over medium heat.
  6. Layer one slice of cheese, cooked eggs, sausage patties, and the second slice of cheese.
  7. Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
  8. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook until the other side is crispy and cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, and slice in half before serving.
