Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 2 breakfast sausage patties
- 2 large eggs
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the sausage patties in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture into the same skillet and cook on low heat, stirring gently until soft and fluffy.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down in a clean skillet over medium heat.
- Layer one slice of cheese, cooked eggs, sausage patties, and the second slice of cheese.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook until the other side is crispy and cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, and slice in half before serving.
