Description

Tender shredded chicken coated in rich garlic butter, wrapped in soft tortillas with melted mozzarella cheese and toasted until golden for a quick, comforting, and flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add the shredded chicken, butter, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir well and cook for a few minutes so the chicken absorbs the garlic butter flavor.
  3. Lay the flour tortillas on a clean surface and divide the chicken mixture evenly between them.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the chicken and add chopped parsley.
  5. Fold the sides of each tortilla inward and roll tightly to form wraps.
  6. Heat a clean skillet over medium heat and place the wraps seam side down.
  7. Cook for about 2–3 minutes per side until the tortillas are golden and the cheese has melted.
  8. Remove from the skillet, slice in half if desired, and serve warm.

  • Rotisserie chicken works well and saves preparation time.
  • You can add sautéed onions or bell peppers for extra flavor and texture.
  • For a spicy version, add red pepper flakes or sliced jalapeños.
  • Cheddar or Mexican cheese blend can replace mozzarella for a sharper taste.
  • A thin layer of garlic sauce or ranch dressing can be spread inside the tortilla for extra flavor.
