Description

This Cheesy Ranch Chicken & Broccoli Bake with Garlic Cream Sauce is a comforting one-dish meal made with tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and a creamy garlic ranch sauce, topped with melty cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: 1/4 cup crushed crackers or breadcrumbs for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add cream cheese and milk to the skillet, whisking until smooth. Stir in ranch seasoning.
  4. In a large bowl, combine diced chicken, broccoli florets, and half the shredded cheddar.
  5. Pour the garlic cream sauce over the mixture and stir to coat evenly.
  6. Transfer to the baking dish and top with remaining cheddar and optional Parmesan.
  7. Sprinkle with crushed crackers or breadcrumbs if using.
  8. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and top is golden.
  9. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken to save time.
  • Cauliflower or green beans can be used instead of broccoli.
  • Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce for heat.
  • Try other cheeses like Monterey Jack for variation.
  • Freeze individual portions after cooling completely.
