Description
Chicken Alfredo Air Fryer Calzones are handheld comfort food—crispy on the outside and filled with creamy Alfredo chicken and cheese. Easy to make, customizable, and perfect for dinner or snacking.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped spinach or mushrooms.
Instructions
- Roll out the pizza dough and cut into even rectangles or circles.
- In a bowl, combine cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, and optional ingredients.
- Spoon filling onto one side of each dough piece, leaving space around the edges.
- Fold dough over the filling to form pockets; seal edges with a fork.
- Brush calzones with olive oil or spray and sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place calzones in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use crescent roll dough for a flakier texture.
- Don’t overfill the calzones to avoid bursting.
- Seal edges well using a fork; brushing with water helps.
- Calzones can be frozen before or after cooking.
- Reheat in the air fryer for best texture.
