Ingredients
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup dried chili flakes
- 1/4 cup minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the oil and cook until the garlic turns golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Carefully add the dried chili flakes to the oil and stir well. Let it cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, sesame oil, and salt. Mix until the sugar dissolves.
- Allow the chili garlic crisp to cool before transferring it to a jar or container. Stir before use as the oil will separate.
Notes
