Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs flank steak (trimmed of excess fat)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Mix olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat the flank steak with the marinade.
- Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight for deeper flavor.
- Preheat grill or skillet to medium‑high heat.
- Cook steak for 4‑5 minutes per side for medium‑rare.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
