Description
Chocolate Strawberry Frozen Yogurt Bites are a sweet and refreshing treat combining the rich flavor of chocolate, the tanginess of yogurt, and the natural sweetness of strawberries. These bite-sized snacks are easy to make, healthy, and perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8–10 fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup dark or milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract together until well combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped strawberries, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt mixture.
- Using a spoon, scoop the yogurt mixture and form small dollops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Place the sheet in the freezer and allow the yogurt bites to freeze for about 1-2 hours, or until firm.
- While the bites are freezing, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth.
- Once the yogurt bites are frozen, dip each one into the melted chocolate, making sure to coat it completely. Return the chocolate-covered bites to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Place the bites back in the freezer for an additional 30 minutes or until the chocolate is fully set.
- Serve and enjoy these frozen, chocolate-dipped yogurt bites!
Notes
- These yogurt bites can be made ahead of time and stored in the freezer for up to two weeks.
- For a dairy-free option, use coconut or almond yogurt and dairy-free chocolate chips.
- Try adding crushed nuts or granola for added crunch.
- If using frozen strawberries, be sure to thaw and drain them first to prevent excess moisture in the mixture.
