Description

Chocolate Strawberry Frozen Yogurt Bites are a sweet and refreshing treat combining the rich flavor of chocolate, the tanginess of yogurt, and the natural sweetness of strawberries. These bite-sized snacks are easy to make, healthy, and perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 810 fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup dark or milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract together until well combined.
  2. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the yogurt mixture.
  3. Using a spoon, scoop the yogurt mixture and form small dollops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Place the sheet in the freezer and allow the yogurt bites to freeze for about 1-2 hours, or until firm.
  5. While the bites are freezing, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth.
  6. Once the yogurt bites are frozen, dip each one into the melted chocolate, making sure to coat it completely. Return the chocolate-covered bites to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Place the bites back in the freezer for an additional 30 minutes or until the chocolate is fully set.
  8. Serve and enjoy these frozen, chocolate-dipped yogurt bites!

Notes

  • These yogurt bites can be made ahead of time and stored in the freezer for up to two weeks.
  • For a dairy-free option, use coconut or almond yogurt and dairy-free chocolate chips.
  • Try adding crushed nuts or granola for added crunch.
  • If using frozen strawberries, be sure to thaw and drain them first to prevent excess moisture in the mixture.
