Ingredients
- 2 cans (12.4 ounces each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls, icing reserved
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt, and melted butter until fully combined.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces, gently pressing them down to soak.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and the center is set.
- Warm the reserved icing for a few seconds in the microwave and drizzle over the casserole before serving.
