Description
A warm, soothing herbal tea made with cinnamon, honey, and lemon — perfect for easing sore throat discomfort and congestion. Quick to prepare and packed with natural healing ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon or 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tbsp raw honey
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Optional: 1-2 slices fresh ginger
- Optional: 1 whole clove
- Optional: Pinch of cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Bring 1 cup of water to a gentle boil in a small saucepan or kettle.
- If using a cinnamon stick, simmer it in the boiling water for about 10 minutes. If using ground cinnamon, add it directly and steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Stir in honey and fresh lemon juice while the tea is still warm.
- Optionally, add ginger, clove, or cayenne for extra relief and steep for a few more minutes.
- Strain if needed. Let cool slightly and sip slowly.

- For a vegan option, substitute honey with maple syrup.
