Description
This cinnamon-sugar pizza made with crescent rolls is a quick and comforting dessert featuring a buttery, flaky crust topped with cinnamon sugar and finished with a sweet glaze.
Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) tube refrigerated crescent rolls
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together to form a single large rectangle, ensuring the dough is even and flat.
- Brush the melted butter evenly over the entire surface of the dough.
- In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle generously over the buttered dough.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is cooked through.
- While baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze. Adjust the milk for desired consistency.
- Let the baked dough cool for 2–3 minutes, then drizzle the glaze over the top.
- Slice into squares or strips and serve warm.
Notes
- Use crescent dough sheets to skip sealing seams.
- Add chopped nuts or chocolate chips for variations.
- Sprinkle nutmeg for a fall-inspired flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
- Reheat in the microwave for gooey texture or in the oven at 300°F to keep glaze crisp.
