Description

Creamy Tuscan Chicken is a rich and flavorful one-skillet meal made with seared chicken breasts, garlic-Parmesan cream sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach. This easy and comforting Italian-inspired dish is perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¾ cup sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil), drained and chopped
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 5–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  4. Add chicken broth and scrape up browned bits.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan. Simmer 2–3 minutes to thicken.
  6. Add sun-dried tomatoes and spinach; cook until wilted.
  7. Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over, and simmer 2–3 more minutes.
  8. Optional: Stir in butter for extra richness.

  • You can substitute chicken thighs for a juicier version.
  • Add mushrooms or red pepper flakes for flavor variation.
