Description

These Crockpot Honey Garlic Meatballs are an effortless and delicious dish made with frozen meatballs simmered in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce. Perfect for cozy dinners or party appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb fully cooked frozen meatballs (beef, chicken, or turkey)
  • ¾ cup honey
  • 1 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil (or vegetable/canola oil)
  • 2 cloves minced garlic (or 1 tsp garlic in oil)
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pour the frozen meatballs into a 6‑quart slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, olive oil, garlic, onion, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and stir gently to coat.
  4. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2½–3 hours or on LOW for 4–6 hours.
  5. Stir once more before serving and optionally top with sliced green onions.

Notes

  • Reduce honey for a less sweet version.
  • Garlic-in-oil can substitute fresh garlic.
  • Use vegetable or canola oil if olive oil is unavailable.
  • Stick to low-sodium soy sauce for a healthier option.
  • Omit red pepper flakes for a milder flavor suitable for kids.
