Description

This Dill Mayo is a creamy and flavorful condiment combining rich mayonnaise with fresh dill and lemon juice. It’s perfect for sandwiches, burgers, vegetables, and seafood.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced or grated
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, chopped dill, garlic, and lemon juice.
  2. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well-blended.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt or a mix of mayo and yogurt.
  • Add hot sauce or cayenne pepper for extra heat.
  • Dijon mustard adds a sharp edge if desired.
  • Use 1 teaspoon dried dill if fresh dill is unavailable.
  • Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
