Ingredients
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles (plus 2 tablespoons brine)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 jalapeños or green chilies, chopped
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard seeds
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup fresh dill
- 1/4 cup water (adjust as needed for consistency)
Instructions
- Add vinegar, chopped pickles, garlic, chilies, mustard seeds, sugar, and salt to a saucepan.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for about 10 minutes until softened.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Transfer mixture to a blender. Add fresh dill and pickle brine.
- Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to reach desired consistency.
- Optional: Strain through a fine mesh sieve for a smoother texture.
- Pour into sterilized bottles or jars and store in the fridge.
