Description

A smooth, creamy, and refreshing mango pudding made with simple ingredients, perfect for a light and naturally sweet dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups ripe mango (peeled and diced)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 2 teaspoons gelatin powder
  • 3 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Blend the diced mango until completely smooth and free of lumps.
  2. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  3. Gently heat the gelatin mixture until fully dissolved (do not boil).
  4. In a saucepan, combine milk, heavy cream, and sugar. Heat on low while stirring until sugar dissolves.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the dissolved gelatin.
  6. Add the mango puree and mix until well combined.
  7. Pour the mixture into serving cups or molds.
  8. Refrigerate for 3–4 hours or until fully set.

Notes

  • Use very ripe mangoes for the best natural sweetness and flavor.
  • Do not boil gelatin as it may lose its setting ability.
  • Adjust sugar based on mango sweetness.
  • For a vegetarian version, substitute gelatin with agar-agar.
  • Chill thoroughly before serving for best texture.
