A hearty and flavorful one-pan dish made with savory ground beef, tender Brussels sprouts, and simple seasonings for a quick and nutritious meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add diced onion and garlic to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
- Stir in Brussels sprouts and drizzle with the remaining olive oil. Cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until Brussels sprouts are tender and slightly caramelized.
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Stir in soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce.
- Toss everything together and cook for another 2–3 minutes until well combined. Serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
- Add shredded cheese on top before serving for extra richness.
- Pairs well with rice, quinoa, or mashed potatoes.
