Description

A hearty and flavorful one-pan dish made with savory ground beef, tender Brussels sprouts, and simple seasonings for a quick and nutritious meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add diced onion and garlic to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in Brussels sprouts and drizzle with the remaining olive oil. Cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until Brussels sprouts are tender and slightly caramelized.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Stir in soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Toss everything together and cook for another 2–3 minutes until well combined. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
  • Add shredded cheese on top before serving for extra richness.
  • Pairs well with rice, quinoa, or mashed potatoes.
