Ingredients
- 6 cups Lucky Charms cereal
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
Instructions
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter until smooth and fully liquid.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until they melt into a thick, creamy mixture.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and salt if using.
- Remove the pot from heat and gently fold in the Lucky Charms cereal until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and gently press it into an even layer using a spatula or lightly greased hands.
- Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Cut into squares or rectangles and serve.
Notes
- Keep the heat low while melting marshmallows to prevent hard treats.
- Press the mixture gently into the pan to maintain a soft texture.
- Add an extra cup of mini marshmallows at the end for gooey pockets.
