Description

Juicy baked chicken breasts topped with creamy feta and drizzled with a sweet-spicy hot honey glaze for a bold, flavorful dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, olive oil, minced garlic, red wine vinegar, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the greased baking dish and spoon the honey mixture over them.
  4. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is hot and bubbly.
  5. Sprinkle crumbled feta over the chicken during the last 3–5 minutes of baking so it softens but doesn’t completely melt.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Increase red pepper flakes or use hot honey for more heat.
  • Swap in boneless chicken thighs for juicier results.
  • Try goat cheese or blue cheese instead of feta for a flavor twist.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
