Description
These Keto Philly Cheesesteak Rolls are a low-carb, bread-free twist on the classic sandwich, made with a cheesy exterior and a savory beef, onion, and pepper filling. Perfect for keto meal prep or a quick dinner fix.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)
- 16 ounces ground beef
- ½ medium onion (sliced)
- 1 bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the ground beef until it starts to brown. Add onions and bell pepper; cook for 5–7 minutes until vegetables soften. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook until creamy and well combined.
- On the baking sheet, form 8 cheese circles (about ¼ cup each). Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are golden and lacy.
- Let cheese circles cool for 1 minute until pliable. Add 2 tablespoons of beef mixture to each and roll up. Let set for 2–3 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use provolone, mozzarella, or Swiss for different cheese flavors.
- Add mushrooms or jalapeños for extra flavor or heat.
- Substitute ground beef with thinly sliced steak for authenticity.
- Store in an airtight container in fridge for up to 3 days.
- Freeze individually and reheat from thawed or frozen state.
