Description

These Keto Philly Cheesesteak Rolls are a low-carb, bread-free twist on the classic sandwich, made with a cheesy exterior and a savory beef, onion, and pepper filling. Perfect for keto meal prep or a quick dinner fix.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)
  • 16 ounces ground beef
  • ½ medium onion (sliced)
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the ground beef until it starts to brown. Add onions and bell pepper; cook for 5–7 minutes until vegetables soften. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, cream cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook until creamy and well combined.
  4. On the baking sheet, form 8 cheese circles (about ¼ cup each). Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are golden and lacy.
  5. Let cheese circles cool for 1 minute until pliable. Add 2 tablespoons of beef mixture to each and roll up. Let set for 2–3 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use provolone, mozzarella, or Swiss for different cheese flavors.
  • Add mushrooms or jalapeños for extra flavor or heat.
  • Substitute ground beef with thinly sliced steak for authenticity.
  • Store in an airtight container in fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Freeze individually and reheat from thawed or frozen state.
