Description

A festive, sweet and salty popcorn treat made with fluffy popcorn, white chocolate, green candy melts, pretzels, marshmallows, and candy-coated chocolates—perfect for St. Patrick’s Day parties or any fun celebration.

Ingredients

  • 10 cups popped popcorn (about 1/2 cup unpopped kernels)
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup green candy melts
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup green and white candy-coated chocolates
  • 1/2 cup gold sprinkles or gold chocolate coins
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Place the popped popcorn in a very large mixing bowl, removing any unpopped kernels.
  3. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, melt the green candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the popcorn and gently toss to coat.
  6. Drizzle the melted green candy melts over the popcorn mixture and lightly toss again to distribute the color.
  7. Immediately add the mini marshmallows, pretzel pieces, candy-coated chocolates, sprinkles, and salt. Gently mix until evenly distributed.
  8. Spread the popcorn mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
  9. Let sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has completely set.
  10. Once hardened, break into clusters and serve.

Notes

  • Use plain or lightly salted popcorn to prevent a greasy coating.
  • Ensure popcorn is completely cool before adding melted chocolate to avoid sogginess.
  • Customize colors and candies to match different holidays or themes.
  • Add 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract for a minty variation.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
  • Do not refrigerate or freeze, as condensation may cause stickiness.
