Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (200–250 g each)
- 4 pineapple rings (fresh or canned)
- 4 sandwich buns
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Grill the chicken over medium heat for 6–7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Grill the pineapple rings for 2–3 minutes per side until slightly caramelized.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, and honey to create the sauce.
- Lightly toast the sandwich buns on the grill or in a pan.
