Description

Rich, fudgy pistachio brownies with deep chocolate flavor, crunchy roasted pistachios, and pockets of melted dark chocolate in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and glossy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped pistachios and dark chocolate chips.
