Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 24 oz tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 12 oz egg noodles or rotini
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic until the meat is no longer pink. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
- Layer half the pasta in a greased baking dish, spread half the cheese mixture, then half the meat sauce. Repeat the layers.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
