Description

Quick and easy unbreaded chicken bites made with chunks of boneless, skinless chicken breast coated in olive oil and taco seasoning, air fried until golden, juicy, and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast
  • 12 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 12 tablespoons taco seasoning (e.g. Siete)
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt (optional, if needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390 °F.
  2. Cut the chicken into 1.5‑inch chunks and place them in a medium bowl.
  3. Toss the chicken with olive oil, taco seasoning, and optional salt until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange the chicken in a single layer in the preheated air fryer basket and cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  5. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 °F and is no longer pink inside, then remove and serve.

Notes

  • You can substitute boneless chicken thighs for the breast, though they may take slightly longer to cook.
  • Use any seasoning you prefer in place of taco seasoning.
  • Air fryer models vary—begin checking doneness around 8 minutes and adjust as needed.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat in the air fryer or microwave.
