Description

A quick and satisfying homemade wrap that captures the classic Big Mac flavors with seasoned beef, fresh toppings, and a creamy tangy special sauce, all rolled into a soft tortilla.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced pickles
  • For the special sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the special sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and sugar in a bowl until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it browns.
  3. Season the beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and cook until fully done and slightly crispy.
  4. Warm the tortillas slightly to make them easier to fold.
  5. Lay each tortilla flat and spread a generous amount of the special sauce in the center.
  6. Add cooked beef, shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, diced onions, and pickles.
  7. Fold in the sides and roll tightly into a wrap.
  8. Optional: Toast the wrap in a pan for a crispy exterior.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground beef with turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
  • Whole wheat tortillas can be used for a healthier variation.
  • American cheese melts better and gives a more authentic fast-food taste.
  • Do not overfill wraps to prevent them from falling apart.
  • Warming tortillas helps improve flexibility and rolling.
  • The sauce tastes better when made ahead and chilled.
