Description

A light, fruity, and refreshing agua fresca made with sweet cantaloupe and fresh lime juice. This chilled summer drink is easy to prepare and perfect for warm afternoons, gatherings, or relaxing evenings.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups ripe cantaloupe, cubed
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons honey or sugar
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Lime slices for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the cubed cantaloupe into a blender along with the cold water and fresh lime juice.
  2. Blend until the mixture becomes completely smooth.
  3. Taste the drink and add honey or sugar depending on your preferred sweetness.
  4. Pour the agua fresca through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher if a smoother texture is desired.
  5. Stir in the ice cubes and chill the drink for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
