Description

Quick and satisfying cheeseburger sliders made with juicy ground beef, melted cheese, and soft buns, perfect for sharing and ready in just 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls or small dinner rolls)
  • 1 pound (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese (cut in halves)
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook diced onion until softened.
  3. Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  4. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  5. Drain excess fat and stir in salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  6. Slice slider buns in half horizontally without separating them individually.
  7. Place bottom half of buns in the baking dish and spread cooked beef evenly over them.
  8. Layer cheese slices evenly over the beef.
  9. Place the top half of buns over the cheese.
  10. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds if using.
  11. Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is melted and tops are lightly golden.
  12. Remove from oven, cool slightly, slice into individual sliders, and add ketchup and mustard before serving.

  • Add pickles or sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Use pepper jack cheese or hot sauce for a spicier version.
  • Substitute ground beef with turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
  • Assemble ahead and bake just before serving for best results.
