Description

A rich and comforting creamy garlic chicken made with tender pan-seared chicken breasts simmered in a smooth, garlicky parmesan cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the chicken for 5–7 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt the butter and add minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer, scraping the bottom of the pan.
  6. Add heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it.
  8. Simmer for a few minutes to blend flavors.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

  • Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts for a juicier texture.
  • Substitute part of the cream with milk for a lighter version.
  • Add mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor and texture.
  • Sprinkle red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
