Description

A simple and flavorful baked BBQ chicken breast recipe with juicy, tender chicken coated in a tangy and slightly sweet barbecue glaze. Perfect for busy weeknights or casual family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking dish with foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Season the chicken breasts evenly with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish and brush generously with barbecue sauce.
  4. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove the dish from the oven and brush another layer of barbecue sauce over the chicken.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
