Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1½ pounds / 680 g)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the chicken for 5–7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.
  6. Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the same skillet.
  7. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  8. Add the lemon juice and Italian seasoning, stirring to combine.
  9. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top.
  10. Cook for another 2–3 minutes to blend the flavors.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

  • Boneless, skinless chicken thighs can be used instead of chicken breasts.
  • Add sliced mushrooms for extra flavor and texture.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken before serving.
