Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough (250300 g)
  • 200 g hot Italian sausage, casing removed
  • 100 g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 150 g mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • A pinch of salt
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) and prepare a baking tray or pizza stone.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough to your desired shape and place it on the tray.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
  4. Cook the sausage in a pan over medium heat until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Add the cooked sausage evenly across the pizza.
  7. Scatter crumbled feta cheese on top.
  8. Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle oregano, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
  10. Remove from the oven, drizzle honey over the top, and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
