Ingredients
- 1 pizza dough (250–300 g)
- 200 g hot Italian sausage, casing removed
- 100 g feta cheese, crumbled
- 150 g mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey (plus extra for drizzling)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- A pinch of salt
- Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) and prepare a baking tray or pizza stone.
- Roll out the pizza dough to your desired shape and place it on the tray.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
- Cook the sausage in a pan over medium heat until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Add the cooked sausage evenly across the pizza.
- Scatter crumbled feta cheese on top.
- Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle oregano, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, drizzle honey over the top, and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
- Slice and serve immediately.
