Description
These Patriotic Oreo Balls are a fun no-bake dessert made with crushed Oreo cookies and cream cheese, coated in red and blue candy melts, and decorated with white drizzle and sprinkles for a festive treat.
Ingredients
- 1 lb 2.12 oz Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz red candy melts
- 12 oz blue candy melts
- 1/3 cup white melting wafers
- White star confetti sprinkles
Instructions
- Line two baking trays with parchment paper.
- Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or blender.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Mix Oreo crumbs with cream cheese until fully combined.
- Scoop and roll into 1.5-inch balls and place on trays.
- Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours or freeze for 15–20 minutes.
- Melt blue candy melts and dip half of the balls, then add sprinkles and chill.
- Melt red candy melts and dip remaining balls, then chill.
- Melt white wafers, place in piping bag, and drizzle over red balls.
- Chill again for about 10 minutes until set and keep refrigerated until serving.
Notes
- Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
- Use different sprinkles or colors for other occasions.
- Can substitute flavored sandwich cookies for variation.
- Freeze for longer storage and thaw in fridge before serving.
- Do not reheat; serve chilled.
