Description

These Patriotic Oreo Balls are a fun no-bake dessert made with crushed Oreo cookies and cream cheese, coated in red and blue candy melts, and decorated with white drizzle and sprinkles for a festive treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb 2.12 oz Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz red candy melts
  • 12 oz blue candy melts
  • 1/3 cup white melting wafers
  • White star confetti sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Line two baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or blender.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Mix Oreo crumbs with cream cheese until fully combined.
  5. Scoop and roll into 1.5-inch balls and place on trays.
  6. Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours or freeze for 15–20 minutes.
  7. Melt blue candy melts and dip half of the balls, then add sprinkles and chill.
  8. Melt red candy melts and dip remaining balls, then chill.
  9. Melt white wafers, place in piping bag, and drizzle over red balls.
  10. Chill again for about 10 minutes until set and keep refrigerated until serving.

Notes

  • Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
  • Use different sprinkles or colors for other occasions.
  • Can substitute flavored sandwich cookies for variation.
  • Freeze for longer storage and thaw in fridge before serving.
  • Do not reheat; serve chilled.
