Description

Ingredients

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts, then place them in a large bowl.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Toss well until the Brussels sprouts are evenly coated.
  5. Arrange the sprouts cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Roast for 20–25 minutes until crispy and deeply golden, shaking the pan halfway through cooking.
  7. If using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it over the sprouts during the last few minutes of roasting.
  8. Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice before serving if desired.
