Description

Soft and chewy peanut butter cookies loaded with colorful Reese’s Pieces candies for the perfect combination of creamy peanut butter flavor and crunchy sweetness. These easy cookies are great for parties, holidays, or everyday treats.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Reese’s Pieces candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.
  6. Fold in the Reese’s Pieces candies evenly throughout the dough.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, place rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden while the centers remain soft.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Use regular creamy peanut butter for best texture and consistency.
  • Do not overbake the cookies to keep them soft and chewy.
  • Mini chocolate chips can be added for extra sweetness.
  • Chilling the dough for 20–30 minutes creates thicker cookies.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • Freeze baked cookies or cookie dough for up to 2 months.
