Description

A fun and indulgent fusion recipe combining a juicy burger with crispy, cheesy quesadilla layers for a bold and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup pickles, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix and form into 4 equal patties.
  2. Cook the patties in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and place a tortilla flat.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese over one half of the tortilla, fold it, and cook until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Repeat for all tortillas.
  5. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to create the sauce.
  6. To assemble, place one quesadilla as the base, add a burger patty, then top with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles.
  7. Drizzle sauce over the toppings and finish with another quesadilla on top.
  8. Serve immediately while warm and crispy.

Notes

  • Use pepper jack cheese for a spicier flavor.
  • Ground turkey can be substituted for a lighter option.
  • Add sautéed onions or jalapeños for extra taste.
  • Avocado slices add a creamy texture.
  • Keep quesadillas crispy by reheating them in a skillet instead of a microwave.
