Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 cup tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix and form into 4 equal patties.
- Cook the patties in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and place a tortilla flat.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over one half of the tortilla, fold it, and cook until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Repeat for all tortillas.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to create the sauce.
- To assemble, place one quesadilla as the base, add a burger patty, then top with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles.
- Drizzle sauce over the toppings and finish with another quesadilla on top.
- Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
Notes
- Use pepper jack cheese for a spicier flavor.
- Ground turkey can be substituted for a lighter option.
- Add sautéed onions or jalapeños for extra taste.
- Avocado slices add a creamy texture.
- Keep quesadillas crispy by reheating them in a skillet instead of a microwave.
