Description
A cool, creamy, and refreshing grape salad made with red and green seedless grapes coated in a sweet cream cheese dressing and topped with brown sugar and crunchy nuts.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds seedless green grapes, washed and dried
- 2 pounds seedless red grapes, washed and dried
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons chopped pecans or walnuts
Instructions
- Wash and thoroughly dry the grapes, then place them into a large mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy and fully combined.
- Pour the creamy mixture over the grapes and gently stir until all grapes are evenly coated.
- Transfer the grape salad to a serving bowl.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar and chopped pecans or walnuts over the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- Add the brown sugar topping just before serving to keep it crunchy.
- Make sure the grapes are completely dry to prevent the dressing from becoming watery.
- Vanilla Greek yogurt can be used instead of sour cream for a tangier flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- This salad is best served chilled.
