Description
A fruity and refreshing homemade peach lemonade made with ripe peaches, fresh lemon juice, and chilled water. Perfect for warm afternoons, summer parties, and family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 5 cups cold water
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Lemon slices for garnish
- Peach slices for garnish
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Place the sliced peaches, sugar, and 1 cup of water into a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour the peach mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove the pulp for a smoother lemonade.
- Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and the remaining 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher.
- Stir everything well until fully combined.
- Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices, peach slices, and fresh mint leaves if desired.
Notes
- Use ripe peaches for the sweetest flavor.
- Frozen peaches can be used if fresh peaches are unavailable.
- Adjust the sugar amount depending on the sweetness of the peaches.
- For a sparkling version, replace part of the water with sparkling water before serving.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and stir before serving.
