Description

Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt until combined, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Press the cookie dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Arrange the Oreo cookies in a single layer over the cookie dough.
  7. Whisk the melted butter and sugar together for the brownie layer.
  8. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth.
  9. Stir in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until combined.
  10. Spread the brownie batter evenly over the Oreo layer.
  11. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the top is set and a toothpick inserted into the brownie layer comes out with a few moist crumbs.
