Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 can (12 ounces) lime sparkling seltzer water
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon honey or simple syrup
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Lime slices for garnish
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Place the frozen strawberries, frozen pineapple, sparkling seltzer water, lime juice, honey, and ice cubes into a blender.
- Blend until the mixture becomes thick, smooth, and icy. If the texture feels too thick, add a small splash of extra sparkling water.
- Taste the slushie and add more sweetener if desired.
- Pour the slushies into chilled glasses.
- Garnish with lime slices and fresh mint leaves.
- Serve immediately while perfectly frosty.
Notes
- Frozen fruit creates the best thick and icy texture.
- Lime, berry, lemon, or tropical sparkling waters all work well in this recipe.
- For a creamier version, add a splash of coconut milk before blending.
- Fresh fruit can be substituted, but additional ice may be needed.
- These slushies are best enjoyed immediately after blending.
