Description

A quick and flavorful one-skillet dinner made with ground turkey, broccoli, and a sweet-spicy sauce served over rice. This easy weeknight meal comes together in under 30 minutes and tastes better than takeout.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 2 cups cooked white rice

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground turkey in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spoon until fully browned and cooked through.
  2. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for 4–5 minutes. Add a small splash of water and cover the skillet briefly if needed to soften the broccoli.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, and sriracha sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce into the skillet and stir until the turkey and broccoli are evenly coated.
  6. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Serve the sweet and spicy turkey mixture over warm cooked white rice.

Notes

  • Swap broccoli with snap peas, green beans, or bell peppers for variety.
  • Add extra sriracha or red pepper flakes for more heat.
  • Serve over cauliflower rice for a lower-carb option.
  • Brown rice or noodles can also be used instead of white rice.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
  • Freeze the turkey and broccoli mixture for up to 2 months.
