Description

Fun and flavorful taco bites made with seasoned ground beef, crispy bases, and fresh toppings, perfect for parties, snacks, or casual meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 packet (about 2 tablespoons) taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2024 tortilla chips or mini phyllo shells

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Drain excess fat from the skillet.
  4. Stir in taco seasoning and water, then simmer for a few minutes until thickened.
  5. Arrange tortilla chips or mini shells on a serving tray.
  6. Spoon a small amount of seasoned beef onto each base.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the warm beef so it melts slightly.
  8. Top with diced tomatoes, red onion, black olives, and shredded lettuce.
  9. Add a small dollop of sour cream to each bite.
  10. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve immediately.
