Description
A fresh, fruity, and slightly tangy peach salad dressing with a smooth, creamy texture. Made with ripe peaches and simple ingredients, it adds a naturally sweet and vibrant flavor to salads, vegetables, and marinades.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh peaches, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the peaches by peeling and chopping them into small pieces.
- Add the peaches, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper to a blender or food processor.
- Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
- If a thinner consistency is desired, add a small amount of water and blend again.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more honey for sweetness or vinegar for tang if needed.
- Transfer the dressing to a jar or bottle and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for extra brightness.
- Mix in fresh herbs like basil or mint for added aroma.
- For a creamier version, blend in a spoonful of Greek yogurt.
- Substitute balsamic vinegar for a deeper flavor.
- Use maple syrup or agave instead of honey for a vegan option.
- Shake or stir before serving as natural separation may occur.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
