Ingredients

- 1/2 cup (65 g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup (90 g) chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until the mixture becomes glossy.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Gently fold the mixture until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, ensuring the center remains slightly soft.
- Allow brownies to cool completely before slicing.
