Ingredients
- 1 large bag (12–14 ounces) tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup corn kernels
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup guacamole
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and salt. Stir until fully cooked and seasoned.
- Spread half of the tortilla chips on a baking sheet or oven-safe dish.
- Sprinkle half of the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the chips.
- Add half of the cooked beef, black beans, corn, and diced tomatoes.
- Repeat the layers with remaining chips, cheese, and toppings.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and top with jalapeños, sour cream, guacamole, green onions, and cilantro.
- Serve immediately.
