Description

Ingredients

  • 1 large bag (1214 ounces) tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup corn kernels
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup guacamole
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  3. Add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and salt. Stir until fully cooked and seasoned.
  4. Spread half of the tortilla chips on a baking sheet or oven-safe dish.
  5. Sprinkle half of the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the chips.
  6. Add half of the cooked beef, black beans, corn, and diced tomatoes.
  7. Repeat the layers with remaining chips, cheese, and toppings.
  8. Bake for 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from oven and top with jalapeños, sour cream, guacamole, green onions, and cilantro.
  10. Serve immediately.
